Well, as befits the fickle nature of 'nix OSes, one day recently, Belenix just suddenly stopped working with my NIC card. Or, rather: I have two NICs and for some unknown reason, it chose to stop working with the one NIC card which works. The other one is not recognized.
I tried a couple 'command line' tweaks, gleaned from the Solaris website, for configuring NIC cards in Solaris, including the odd command 'plumb,' but alas, none worked.
So.......it's back to Linux again, I'm afraid.........oh, well: it was fun while it lasted!
